I Did it Again . . .

Ok so I may have fallen even farther behind on blogs, but I'm taking notes! I didn't write down a lot for today, but I'll tell you what I did write and remember.
We had breakfast this morning at our hotel which meant I got my favorite breakfast food for the first time in a while: cereal. That made me pretty happy, along with the fact that I got apple juice too!
From there: most of the day was driving. In the late morning, we passed the sign for the Pawnee National Grasslands. Now if you know me you know that one of my all time favorite shows is a show called Parks and Recreation. In the show, the characters live in a town called Pawnee. So, naturally, I stopped for a picture in front of the sign. Come on, guys, it's not every day you get to see your favorite fictional place! And hey, if you're seeing your favorite fictional place for real, let's face it: you're probably on the way out.
Soon after that, we were in a decent sized town. It was about lunch time, so we stopped at Sonic. I got chili on my pants. The limeade was good though!
I don't remember much of the afternoon or hotel except for dinner. We went to this tavern-like place. It was pretty big and pretty packed, and we got stared at the whole time from the family behind Mom. The water tasted like metal and the meals weren't all that great.
I know this seems like a really short blog, but the day was generally uneventful, so . . . sorry for being boring I guess? Anyway.
