Abby's Blog July 19th!
Today our first stop was the farmer's market! I liked it! We got pizza for lunch and then we went to Little John's and got yummy caramel and chocolate marshmallows. Gideon got sour patch kids!
Then we went back to the parking garage, got in the van and drove to the Santa Monica Pier. At the Santa Monica Pier was the end of Route 66 and also the disaster of what made Gideon very upset. So first, we went to see the end Route 66 sign. Then, we saw free Edy's Outshine Bars they were giving away and Gideon and I got one. After that, Mommy found a little shop that had flip flops because she needed new ones, her old ones were breaking.
After that we went to see the pretty outlook of the ocean. The ocean was part of a beach, by the way. So when Gideon saw people swimming, he said "I want to go swimming". We said "no". He started a big fit. It kept on going as we walked on down to the car. It was a long walk. After that, we drove back to the hotel. There to Gideon's surprise, we went swimming in the pool! He loved it! This time he had goggles and a floaty so he could swim much better.
