Abby's Blog August 1st!

Today was very busy! We started off with Crazy Horse. It was ok. It was still being worked on. It would look much better if it were actually finished. Next we went to the Jewel Cave. We went on a tour, it was very short. We only went down a couple of stairs and stayed on one platform for the whole time! We did get to see some pretty cool jewels though!

Next we went to Mount Rushmore. Unlike Crazy Horse, it was very impressive! George Washington was very handsome! Next we drove on to the Badlands. There it got VERY windy. We stopped at a couple of places to take pictures and then kept on moving on. Eventually, we stopped to get Mommy some medicine. As soon as she left to go to the drug store, Daddy said "Mommy's score is out". Then I went crazy for a little while. Then Daddy said "when mommy gets in the car you need to act straight", so I practiced my straight face for a little while. I got a little bored waiting for Mommy to come back to the car. When Mommy got to the car, Daddy asked her "would you like to know now, or later". Mommy asked "the scores are out!?" Daddy said "yes". Mommy said "now". We went outside and Daddy let me see her score, and then I gave the phone to Mommy so Mommy could see her score. Mommy was so happy she started crying. Mommy had passed. It was so, so, relieving. When we got to the car, Mommy gave us each a present. I got a new Beanie Boo and Gideon got a new Mickey.
