Sorry, Mates.

Here's the thing: writing blogs is hard. We go spend our energy doing all these cool things all day. How am I supposed to have any juice left for writing? So sorry, but I fell behind again. Just a little this time, but hey, you can't blame me. And it’s not that I;m complaining, like I do want to write these, it's just--you get it, right? Cool.
Anyway, we started this morning a little later than usual. We started out with breakfast at some place downtown that had eggs benedict. Mom has an addiction. I, personally, had some pretty decent home fries though. Oh, and the chocolate milk was also pretty good.
This morning we visited Canyonlands National Park. On the way, we took some in the road pictures and saw a cool dino statue on the side of the road.
The park was easy to get into and absolutely beautiful from the very start. The visitor center was our first stop, where me and Gideon picked up some new friends and coloring books. At that very same stop was a little walk off onto a plateau amidst some of the formations. We walked it and took tons of pictures, although it was a real pain getting back up afterwards. Guys, it's hot. And humid. And really, really high, so there's a lot less oxygen to breathe.
The best thing about this park, though: the ravens followed us around again! They were so stunning and adorable . . . I had a great time with them. The ravens are my friends now, guys. I love them.
The sign was really busy on the way in, so we planned to get our sign picture on the way out. We got caught up in conversation and totally forgot about it, so Mom made us drive back to take the picture. She needs them for her collection.
We looked up lunch choices, but there weren't many options, so we ate what we had in the car. The rest of the afternoon I took a nice long and peaceful nap. Of course, when I woke up, I had to pee. Luckily we were close to the hotel. When we pulled up, it looked super nice. I went inside and used the restroom. We all hauled our stuff in and settled into the room, which was also super nice. I acknowledged at that moment that I really should have been writing my blog, but I didn't. Sue me, guys, I wanted to color. It was a super fun break.
We chillaxed for a while and then walked down the street to a pub that served all kinds of foods from the United Kingdom area. Irish, British, Scottish . . . they had it all. Now, our grandma, Guggie, found out for us that I am fifty percent Scottish and Gideon has a large amount of Whales in his blood. The funny part of this irrelevant fact is that we got sat in the booth with both the flag of Scotland and the flag of Whales. We got some pretty good food there and we even got dessert. Then we went back to the hotel.
When we got there, me and Mom settled in to watch Catfish. It was super fun, I love our little Catfish dates.
Oh, and before dinner we tricked Gideon into thinking he'd disappeared in the closet. He got really confrontational and attacked all of us. I still have bruises to prove it. Annddd that's about it.
