Fiasco & Fiesta
I don't honestly remember much of the morning, which means we probably ate donuts.
The first clear memory I have of today is making it to a decent sized city by lunch. Mom found an A&W which me and Dad really enjoy, so we decided to go there. Mom put on google navigation, but the road it wanted us to go on was closed. After probably a good twenty minutes of trying to get out of it on the fly and an eventual pull-over so Dad could look at the map, we found our way to the A&W. The problem with this whole situation was I had taken a nap before. So, as you know, I had to pee. The entire time. Plus, the A&W wasn't open to indoor dining when we got there! We went through the drive-through, which was packed and very, very slow. After that we pulled in the the McDonald's next door to pee, and got two orders of fries to pay for it. Thanks, McDonalds. Well, except for your sticky floors and mystery substance leaking out for under the toilet seat.
Most of the afternoon wasn't too memorable either, meaning it was probably pretty standard. Drive, eat, sleep. You know, the three road trip essentials.
We got to our hotel earlier than usual, and we were finally able to book adjoining rooms on check in! Yay! Since we were early, we layed around for a bit. Then, we went to the pool. There was a creepy guy staring at us for the first little while, but when he left everything was good.
After the pool we dried off for a bit and then went out to dinner. There was a chili's near our hotel, which turned out to be another homey hankering of ours.
There was also a Trader Joe's near our hotel, and we missed their peanut butter cups, so we got some. And then, the perfect end to the night, I ate peanut butter cups while watching Catfish.
