Cereal Sleeper
This morning, Dad came in to wake me up. He started rubbing my back and talking to me slowly. Then, Gideon turned on the light. Poor Dad was harshly punished for Gideon's misdoing. Furthermore, Dad gave me a terrible ultimatum. "You have to get up soon if you want hotel cereal breakfast". The worst part about all of this? It actually worked! I got up for cereal.
After breakfast, I fell asleep in the car. I woke up near Antique Archaeology. If you don't know what that is: congratulations! You're normal. It's a shop from this show where these two dudes take old people's older stuff and refurbish it. Most of the shop wasn't refurbishments and more merchandise. Mom did, however, buy one thing that was an actual antique. She got a set of small seven dwarfs statues with Happy missing and two Bashfulls. Other than that, it was a cool place but wasn't anything too notable.
After getting in the car, we drove for a while. Mom began listing a few things we had to do soon, at which time I added "and get lunch because I'm hungry". The first thing I was on board for was Steak and Shake. So we went there and got me Frisco Melts because they're to die for. Mom was tired of burgers though so she and Dad got Checker's after that to have some Spicy Chicken. After lunch, do you wanna guess what I did? Just take a wild guess. Oh my gosh . . . you're right! I took a nap.
When I woke up again we were close to the hotel. We checked in and went inside and the whole place smelled like food. I don't know how else to describe it but burnt food. It was kinda disgusting, but it wasn't a problem in our room, which was nice. We chillaxed for a little while in our room before we went out for dinner.
We went to this cute little tavern-like place and met our Aunt Noelle there. The food was pretty good, and it was fun talking to her, too!
After dinner we were all pretty tired, so the day really wound down after that.
