Abby's Blog July 15th!
Today our first stop was the painted desert. It was beautiful. I took pictures of Dew Drop there! Dew Drop was wearing a cowboy hat in one of them! It was cute! We also saw colorful mountains at the same place. They were cool! Gideon was playing with his guys (toy dinosaurs). Daddy found a dirty dollar on the ground in the painted desert. You're not supposed to take things from the desert, it is bad luck. So we went through the park and we saw petrified wood, mountains and the painted desert. And went to deliver the dollar to donations for the park.
Our next stop was "the corner" in Winslow, Arizona. It was cool! It was just like in the song. There was a little park behind the building too! I got a picture of Dew Drop there (see mommy's pictures from this day to see!)
Our next stop was Meteor Crater. We turned around when we were almost there because it was too thundery and lightening-ey. We had dinner at a nice mexican place. I got a churro for dessert. Yum!! For my entree, I had a quesidilla. And some very yummy fries! Mommy got me pink lemonade to drink! I didn't know it was pink lemonade, she told me it was coffee!
