Abby's Blog July 16th!
Today our first stop was the grand canyon. It was beautiful! I took some pictures of Dew Drop there! At the end, Daddy tried to fix mommy's camera. But he only made it worse :-(. So we drove all the way back to Flagstaff, AZ to get mommy a new camera. We named the camera, Jane. We wanted to name it Joe (the CEO - Tom Petty reference) but it looked like a girl, not a boy! Mommy was SO EXCITED! There were so many new things to learn. She didn't know how to use half the things on the camera.
Also on the trip today, we had a huge fit from Gideon. We went to Wendy's for lunch and I got a toy, but he chose to have crackers instead of Wendy's for lunch. So he had a HUGE fit because I got a toy. It's his fault. It went on, for what felt like, hours! Finally, Daddy offered me a DVD player so I didn't have to listen to it! That's when he stopped. Wish you would have asked earlier, Daddy! Earlier that day, I found a Hawaii license plate!!!!!!! It was so awesome!!!!!! Daddy didn't think we'd even get a Hawaii license plate!
That night, we went to dinner at the Grand Canyon Railway Hotel. It was very nice! It was mostly a buffet, but they brang drinks and desserts! We asked our waitress for ketchup, but she never brang it! So instead, mommy went to another table and STOLE it. Bad girl, Mommy. The food was very good. I got my own fettucine alfredo and I even watched the chef make it. There was also somebody playing the guitar and singing songs. He was good! We got his business card.
